Our Founders, Board, and Our Mission

Pike County Progress Partners, Inc. is the Foundation of Pike County Economic Development Corporation. The Board of the Entrepreneurship & Technology Center of Pike County identified the strong local talent that came from Pike Central High School.  Students at PCHS in the "Project Lead The Way" program in engineering and biomedical programs have competed at national levels and presented their projects to the President of the United States at the White House at Washington D.C. After their trip, some of these students partnered with local hospitals and businesses to assist them in business products, policies, and procedures.

Due to these talented students and their inspiring story, the Entrepreneurship & Technology Center (ETC) came to be. The mission of the ETC is to "enable regional talent to foster ideas to develop start-up concepts and launch new businesses, and is a uniquely, modern co-working space that offers prototype space".  ETC was creted to offer a unique facility for entrepreneurs working to develop potential business enterprises across a range of categories including innovative bio-med, consumer products, agri-tech, technology and more. ETC offers entrepreneurs collaborative opportunities as well as access to a group of current business owners/entrepreneurs, engineers, patent holders, finance professionals, etc. to help get start-ups off the ground.

Pike County is the median center of US population; at the center of your success!
